"Frankenstein's Bride" Pitch Deck leaves the building
Still in progress, the pitch deck for “Frankenstein’s Bride” has gone to its first connection in the TV streaming world. We will get some feedback and see where we are in the process of creating a bible for our proposed 12-episode two-season show about Mary Shelley and her circle of outrageous poets, revolutionaries and despots.
“It’s about time these guys got something out the door,” laughs our singer/keyboardist Erica Antonelli. “Sean and Sandy and their co-creators Peter and Ariel are just sitting on a half-dozen musical masterpieces that are perfect for the current stream of period-piece TV programming. Except what they’ve done is create amazingly contemporary versions of these stories about the Grimm Brothers, Vincent van Gogh, a real angry bird, and ancient Greek poetry, as well as a musical study of the Moon and the Sun. The Mary Shelley project takes the cake, and it’s the most commercially ready product they’ve got.”
Here’s the latest addition to the pitch deck, the ‘Creator’s Statement’ from Sean written on Tuesday:
The deck has got some praise from interesting places, and is currently a 24-page explosion of colorful ideas with links to video and song. The goal is to keep developing the deck to make it a unique submission in the entertainment industry, since it is the tip of the iceberg that should alert recipients to the massive possibilities lurking in its depths. “Like everything we do,” says Producer Sandra Bishop, “Even the marketing materials have to show literary merit, or they don’t go out the door.”
